Sealing side windows GM 4108

Any suggestions for sealing the side windows on my 4108?

The windows with a problem are the non-sliding solid glass windows. They do have the tilt-out emergency exit function, but it will be really difficult to reach the mechanism - the leakers are the two windows which are behind the bathroom/kitchen and have a dummy wall about 4" inside them.

If I can reach the mechanism to tilt them out, is there a recommended method for stopping the leaks? Are the gaskets still available?

Or do I just make judicious use of copious amounts of clear sealant on the exterior and call it done?

I have no need for these windows to tilt open, since there is no way possible for us to use them for anything. IF I can open them, could I just run a bead of silicone around the perimeter and then shut them closed again?

On the front windshield on the M C I it would drip leak when I was driving in a heavy rain

In the end I fixed it by using masking tape on the body and the seal . 1/8 " on the body and 1/8" on the rubber seal . Then I used the best silicone sealant in black to match the colour of the rubber in between the tape . As soon as I was done with the silicone I removed the tape . Do not let the tape touch anything on the coach and yes you will be wearing a lot of silicone when you do this from the tape .

Before I started I used lacquer thinner to clean the area

That sounds like what I was thinking about. The upper edge of the window molding/seal ends about 1/4 from the bottom of the rain gutter. I've determined (with garden hose) that's the area with the problem - both where the rubber meets the body and where the pivot hinges cross the rubber. I'm going to use silicone to seal the upper edge of the rubber to the body and around the three hinges. May not be a permanent solution, but it should get me through for a while.

I've tried to reach the emergency lever to open the window so I can seal it more thoroughly, but if I encounter any difficulties closing/resetting the lever there is no way I'd be able to gain access to fix it. Decided that the window is better left unopened.
