Depends on what you are going for?
Original switches like came in the bus are what they call micro switches. I have seen a few on ebay but they are not in plentiful supply nor variety.

If you are redoing your dash, like I am, I have found a place to get rocker switches made by Carling (well known brand) that are 24V and I can get any type of switch that you want. I am going with the Contura V (see page 6 or ordering scheme). These switches aren't necessarily the cheapest, but I have a connection that I can order the exact amount that I need versus meeting a dealers 10 quantity minimum. The average cost was about $13 per switch which isn't a bad price in my opinion. Now I had to buy the actuators (the top switch rocker part of the switch) and they come blank @$3 each. I purchased a laser engraver that im going to engrave my own image on the switches. Now there is a person who will also engrave stuff but he wants $5.50 per switch and has an extra cost for custom etching. I figured id buy my own etcher and come out about the same and also have an etcher to do with what I want later.

With doing the etching, you can get the switches with back lit LEDs that are 12 or 24v and have them light up when your turn them on. I got what is called dual independent LEDs so I plan to have the bottom of the switches light up with the dash lights so I can control it with the dash dim controls

This was the best I can find for switches that I can customize my self and serve the same purposes as the original switches. I just need to find some rheostats that I can do the same with and I will be set.

Eaton also makes switches but I didn't look into cost or dealers

I can send you pictures of the switches I ordered, they are bigger than the switches currently used but I cant wait to get my new dash built and them installed

Call Mac at http://www.custominstrumentpanels.com/.   He advertises in BCM and has been supplying dash gauges and panels for a lot of years.  He has a very good selection.

How did you wire your switches?  Did the  Carling switches you purchase have the same pin layout?  Our switches have multiple pins on the back.  Very confusing.

Switches come in single pole, single throw.(2 pins), single pole double throw.(3 pins), double pole, single throw.(4 pins), double pole, double throw.(6 pins). There are also triple and quad pole, but fairly uncommon for us.

All depends on what function they serve. They also have additional pins for LEDs as well. I can send you some information if you would like
