According to Funk & Wagnalls, the plural of bus is busses, but can be spelt either way. :-)

Sometimes school kids ride in mine.  So apparently sometimes I drive a bus and sometimes I drive a coach.  Guess I will have to get a placard to flip over depending on my passenger load.  ;D

Nope it stopped in 1961 check it out, LOL

Until 1961, 'busses' was the preferred plural of 'bus' in Merriam-Webster dictionaries. But the word 'buss' is a synonym of 'kiss'. Perhaps it's just as well that 'buses' took over.
