OK, I fixed it.   Even though my Internet Favorites had a shortcut to the BCM forum which still worked, even though it was from B.U. (Before Upgrade) with a slightly different URL, when I updated the Favorites with the current incarnation of BCM, guess what, I stay logged in.   Praise the lord, or Gary, or some other supreme being.

IE 11 (I think).

My primary browser is IE11, but I have it configured to clear history when it closes.  I use macros to log in to my regular sites.  You probably had a saved cookie from the old forum, and it was conflicting with the new url.  Maybe I'll change the cookie name, that would require everyone to log in and set a new cookie.

That's easy enough and if it solves the problem once and for all, it seems a good solution to me.  Thanks.  (I also had to re-log in last night, but I had the option to log in "forever", so I did that and I didn't have to re-log this AM.)

Will this new platform be available in Tapatalk on the phone?  The old version was and I just tried to sign in with username and password but it isn't working.  I may have to do another search though.  I think it's trying to sign onto the old version.

Thanks for getting rid of the "red Ink".  Is there any chance of increasing the font size--lots of us old guys have to squint to read the new type and we're too vain to wear eye glasses.  Jack

I'm seeing this (attached).  Could you login again, or refresh?  The default theme of the forum is no longer to use the Black/Dark Orange / light grey, but it's now similar to the previous, blues, etc., ,

Easier to read, etc.,

Yup, that worked!  Thanks!  :)

Is there a way to view the topic as 1 page?   And is there a way to search only a topic for a keyword (someones thread?)

Looks great thanks!

Upper RH corner of the page is a search box that searches the forum.

I was looking to search the thread.

Like if someone was asking about what coach they should get, and I wanted to search the 7 pages of posts(without opening all 7) to see if someone had mentioned "HC" or "Motorhome title"

This would be easy if the thread could display as one page, as you could just use find in your browser tools.

As some of you are still having logout problems, I'm changing cookie name, that will log everyone out and next login will drop clean cookie.  Let me know if problem persists.

Tapatalk is a third party addon, and is available for SMF 2.0.  We'll reinstall it soon as we've gotten the bugs out of the new forum.

I can increase it, but it may cause formatting problems if it's too large, especially on mobile.  I have IE11 set for large text, FF60 at 120% zoom, on 23" monitor, so I see everything differently than most of you.  I'll bump the post text up a bit, if anyone sees a problem post a description or screenshot and which browser you're using.

Profile -> Look and Layout -> Messages to display per page  Default setting is 15, max is 50.  It will affect all topics.

Quick search (upper left) will search the topic you're in.  Advanced search is accessed from menu button.

Yesterday I changed my "Look and Layout" to the old blue one. I figured I'd change to the "new" one but, I no longer have any option to change it.

Everyone should be seeing Curve theme -

I've removed the option to change themes for now, it's less confusing while we're getting things squared away.
