How to find out history of bus

Hello I have a 1981 Mci-9  Vin# 1M89CM8A2BP036576.  How can I find out its previous use?

I found out who bought my MC8 from MCI.

I'm not sure they provide that information on a general basis but I had a contact there and she emailed me the information.
