I've got a 102DL3 coming to Reno and Phoenix in turn and I'm looking for free multi-day/long-term parking areas nearby. Please advise.

Cheers.

I believe the casinos are accommodating of motorhomes. I'm passing through Reno next week too.

   Hi;
Just curious,  are you looking for parking near Reno or Phoenix ?  Or you looking for
parking some where in between en route?

I'm looking for parking in Reno and in Phoenix.

Can I park at a shopping center parking lot or at Pilot Flying J or TA? I will not be inside the vehicle all the time and I do not have slides.

Thanks.

Can I park at a shopping center parking lot?

Most shopping centers that allow you to park prefer that it's for overnight rest only.  Staying for days at a time is the reason more and more are clamping down and removing the privilege.  Be considerate - always ask first, and leave your space cleaner than when you arrived.

Truck stops are another story, but do park way in the back away from the normal traffic flow and the guys earning a living.

Phoenix area has been cracking down on parking in shopping center areas because of day workers coming in a setting up camp waiting for someone to come in and hire them for day labor.

Thanks, guys. It looks like it will be best for me to park at a truck stop.

Any area in Phoenix would work, preferably close to downtown or Sky Harbor.

I am not in Phoenix we are closer to Carefree 3 miles to Carefree from our place @Pima and Dynamite, Sky Harbor would be a trip lol probably 2 hours at 7 AM or 5 PM

In that case, can I just confirm that I may park my 102DL3 at the Flying J or TA for multiple days and be able to leave it unattended during daylight hours, as I only stay in it at night to sleep?

I'm not trying to be a derk, but please think carefully about this. It seems like what you really need is an RV Park. Look into Passport America or other RV Park Memberships. Truck stops are there for truckers to catch some rest and move on 6-8 hours later. Any time people start to push the limit of what's acceptable (i.e., Setup a BBQ at a casino parking lot, Stay for a week at a Walmart, etc.) the rules change and places are closed to RVs. I'm not accusing you of these things, but I'd avoid parking anywhere where the management would refuse if asked.

That being said, checkout freecampsites.net. I use their website when I travel to find cheap/free places to stay.

I've stayed at casinos in Phoenix for a few days and left the rig there during the day. I made efforts to eat food at the casino and kept receipts. See the listing here: https://freecampsites.net/#!94781&query=sitedetails

I don't believe you are going to park multiple days at Fly J /Pilot on Latham that truck stop is in the Phoenix city limits
