MCI MC12 Roof Curve

Not sure it's of any use to anyone, I came up with this drawing for the corner roof curve on my MC-12. This is so I could mold furring strips for my ceiling install.

I am also going to use it when it comes time to build cabinets to help get the best fit.

Your making fir strips going perpendicular to the side of the bus-creating a whole bunch extra work for your self. Run 1x2 fir strips fore and aft (parallel to the side) attached to the roof supports, spray insulation foam to the level of the 1x2 fir strips, then cover the ceiling with 1/8" plywood that easily conforms to the curvature of the ceiling.
But then again, maybe you like to do a lot of extra work. Good Luck, TomC

Agreed, running them the long way would be much easier, but the way I laid out my rooms there are a few locations that don't have ribs to attach to. By going up and down I can attach to the side and to the first roof rail that runs down the bus.

There were many modifications I had to make to my original floor plan to make things fit-whether that be plumbing, placement of walls, etc. I'm of the opinion to better alter your floor plan then have to make custom fittings to fit where you want. I still got everything in and fitted to the dimensions I wanted without making custom fittings. Good Luck, TomC
