Interesting, it's kind of cool that you're figuring this out in case your driver side of it goes bad. And I used to think the passenger side wiper was for vanity too, until I realize that it's what allows me to see my side mirror :-)

That's true. I forget I'm driving a Carpenter. The Thomas I drive daily has a little side window I use to view my mirrors. One day I'll upgrade the mirror system on my bus. The offset convex and west coast mirrors just aren't as good as the system on the Thomas.
