I tried calling featherlite but after 17 years they do not want to talk to me . but if I want to replace the old clunker with a new one they have a lot to say .

I feel your pain

If Norris from Jefferson Bus & Truck (now retired) had been working there, he would have searched the manuals and sent you a copy, and if he did not have a part, he would tell you where you could find it. The people and outfits that are just in it for the money miss the benefit of feeling good because they actually helped someone. Yes, businesses are only profitable and healthy if they make a profit, but to not serve someone who has their product will not bolster their image with future customers.

The Problem is ,there are not that many Norris's left in the world!! The same with auto parts stores. The older guy's that actually cared for their customers and knew their products are on the very edge of extinction. They are being replaced by these young managers that are paid on the sales for that store therefore if it is a slow moving item or if you are a diy ,then forget it .Not to mention the fact that you can go to three different people and buy the same item from the same store and get three different prices .Then they don't understand why people buy from the internet!!Of course ,you have to blame the parent company's for a lot of this. For instance ,if the stores get caught with a lot of slow moving inventory ,they will charge it back to the stores and this in turn affects the store managers operating budget.

good idea on the breaker . that is were I will start . I will remove the power wire and test the amps going through it and try another breaker to see if that is the problem . one thing I did not mention is with all the light bulbs in place they are very dim up until the breaker trips , but that could be the breaker's cause as well

thanks for the help and sorry about the drift

Silly Question ,but your lamps are the correct voltage aren't they?? 24v lamps on a 12v circuit will be very dim indeed!!!

correct no 24 volt all 12 volt and I have been changing all the bulbs over to led as I get the chance . I think I have done very good because when I first got the rv nothing worked right or not at all ? only do to neglect , but I only paid 7 cents on the $ so in the end it is awesome for what I have into it and the bad security light issues is the only thing that has me stumped so far and I will find the short eventually .
