Is the problem you are concerned with about how to secure it?

my wife likes her baths . so I installed a bath tub in the M C I and riped out a beautiful kohler shower in the featherlite and installed a bath tub just not a claw foot . biggest problem is the shower curtain system for the claw foot tub look like crap . I had to use a L shape curtain system instead of the glass walls that were in the old shower  , but it sure made the bath room look a lot bigger   .

happy wife happy life

It does make a bathroom look bigger I give her that, and securing is not a problem,to me it's the friggn plumbing and fixtures to go with it.It's a tub why do need 3 different type shower heads for a tub ? .The shower curtain and the rail looks good on the one she purchased and it should for the price, stepping up 2 ft to take a shower to me is dumb but I am losing the battle and the war  ??? I can only stall so long

I think I once had a plumbing project that wasn't like that but I don't remember for sure; if I did, it was a long time ago.

fixtures  ! fixtures  !  my featherlite is from the vintage 2000 remember . I have GOLD PLATED grohe bath , kitchen taps and drains ,  and for now there are staying only because it would cost me a small fortune to replace them and all the other shinny brass parts with the same high quality units . remember the shower sprayer that had all the different spray patterns it can do , some as a massage  ???

Have installed a lot of them just not in a Bus. The phone handle shower head works the best. When done you hange it flat at the front of the tub. Slipper tubs are the most comfortable. If in a bus I would suggest a flexible drain joint maybe just under the floor so you don;t see it and flexible supply lines or joints also. Remeber you sit on the edge and slide the feet and legs in then stand up. Don't lift leg and climb in. Use the least amount of curtain down-rods as you can and placement of them is critical because of where you want the curtain to open and close. Get the soap dish that hanges over the edge and put it where you can reach it.  If you got the up pipe for the shower it also has to support the ceiling ring and curtain so side supports work well. HTH ;D

Find a claw foot that still actually has claws. Then convince it hold on tight in the turns.

Depending on the size and weight of the available cast iron tubs, you might have a little bit of trouble wrestling it in the front door or window, or any hallway or door it has to go through. That might get you of the hook, plus we don't want to see pictures of you when you lose your grip and get crushed. That's no way to go, being crushed by a claw-foot.  ;D Maybe there are fiberglass reproductions.

Yep We could leave on the 28th of December and get be there on the 30th. That would give us until the (3rd through the 16th at the RV resort we got free tickets too) but could drive back in the jeep its only 20 minutes from you if we need more days. We leave Bull head city on the 17th for Quartszite. So there is plenty of room in there. Hardest part is getting it in the Bus and get flooring down first as well as any wall covering that might be behind it when done. ;D
