MCI guys how the heck do you stabalize the pulley to take off the nut to get it off. And the squirrel cage nut. I am rebuilding mine and have it out but can't keep it still to remove it. Also what the torque on it. Can't find it in my books.
I know Brian and Gumpy have done this so ? Man that thing is heavy and awkward to get out.

TIA

I hold it by hand and use a impact gun comes right off,I believe that nut is torqued to 120# you should have a torque chart at the back of your manual I can check for you tomorrow

Thanks Clifford, I will try my air wrench tomorrow. I do have a chart but it is out in the Bus and have to go dig it out Tomorrow also. Man what a PITA :'( this job is but am able to clean all up with my pressure washer and then paint stuff. Bolts and nuts came off with 3/4 drive stuff except for the last bolt on the gearbox. Had to cut the head off it and drill it out. Had to remove with the plate still attached and heavy. I think I will use neighbors Fork lift to put it back in. I had to call Luke to see if he can get me some new squirrel cage rubbers. Mine were somewhat chipped and pieces missing. >:(

I'm glad my box was just rebuilt. I don't ever want to deal with this. Ugh.
