Ok thanks guys, I actually got locked up on posting this here and on the mag site also, so deleted my fav thinking maybe a weird property issue.
Tried an old archive I use for homework and wahla so hit the home page, finding out it posted. go figure, it feels like exercises up n down

I've been having troubles too (Firefox also FWIW).  I just assumed Gary had to decide between paying the ISP or buying diesel fuel and opted to travel.  But I suppose it would be more of a concern if I was broke down in New Mexico.

Of the several boards we frequent on this one is by far the slowest to react...

Gary wake up and push the button to fix it. I too have had slow if any connection last few days on FF, Chrome and edge. Or maybe they are cleaning the server!..... ;D :o

Probably taking them little umbrellas out the drinks and sticking them in the key board, and expecting us to believe the keyboard was being protected.

Sorry for the delay - traveling myself for work.

We have been experiencing delays recently however the server itself and software are in good shape.  What we are seeing however has been a large uptick in what looks to be overseas attempts to lock onto our site.  These attempts consume large amounts of bandwidth.  Naturally we have blocklists and other security measures in place. But they are currently very persistent and we've had to manually intervene a few times.

Hope this helps and thanks for your patience.

Kind regards, Phil

I couldn't connect at all either Wednesday or Thursday morning.  Other than that the site has been very responsive for me.  It is nothing like years ago when it was at a snail's pace for months.
