Among the celebrities lined up to appear at the California RV Show are Miss California USA Natasha Martinez, baseball greats Jim Abbott and Steve Garvey, plus NFL Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson, and Rick Harrison of the History Channel's hit reality show Pawn Stars.

Among the other attractions are the 1st Annual American Diving Dogs Championship competition on both weekend of the show, free Ferris wheel rides compliments of KOA, and performances by jazz singer Annette DiNardo.  Visitors can also see historian David Woodward's 1931 Model A Ford towing a 1931 trailer, and also catch a ride in his Model T Ford.  Many vintage campers and other vehicles are slated to appear at the show, including a 1937 Yellowstone bus and 1941 GM Futureliner.

This year, there's a drawing for a valuable Lance 1575 Ultra Light Travel Trailer in honor of the company's 50th anniversary, plus a $1,000 gift certificate for parts and service at Richardson's RV Center.

The show runs from Oct. 9 through 18, 2015 at the Fairplex in Pomona, Gate 9. Show hours are 10AM until 6PM daily. Adult admission is $10; kids 17 and under are free. Active military personnel are free with ID. Parking is $10. Purchase tickets online at http://www.thebestrvshow.com. For more information, call (818) 248-6600.

The show is produced by the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), the national trade association representing recreation vehicle (RV) manufacturers and their component parts suppliers who together build more than 98 percent of all RVs produced in the United States.

Bus Conversion Magazine is still accepting volunteers to help out at the show.  All volunteers will either be offered extended subscriptions and free back issues as indicated in this previous post...
