Seems les schwab over torqued one side of the Scenic when it had new tires put on it. Anyone know the part number or where I can find about 5 stud centering studs for the drive and tag axles?

Thanks in advance.

Jack -

Call Luke at US Coach in NJ: 1-888-262-2434.

I trust that Les Schwab's going to be paying for these studs, right?  Would serve them right for using a burp gun and not a torque wrench.

They say replace the 2 next to the broken one, studs break with age not all break because they were over torqued with a air gun

I wonder if they broke them trying to remove LH fasteners.

I know it doesn't apply to RV's because the DOT don't bother with them but the DOT is sticky about the stud rule.

Now what pisses me off the suppliers are selling the studs 3 to a package just what you need for 10 hole wheel  ???

Should have been more clear, there were no broken studs. All lug nuts were new at the time it got tires. With both wheels on it look to not have anything wrong. After removing the outer dually I found that there was one loose lug per axle on the passenger side. After inspection it seems the air gun operator didn't take time to ensure the inner lug nut was not cross threaded before blasting it. I am replacing those two studs and three others that have poor looking threads do to being cross threaded or has excessive wear.

Hoping to find these locally as they can be heavy to ship from coast to coast.

Thanks again,

Jack
