Hey nuts,

Heather and I are considering taking our bus on a two month tour from Texas to Orlando to Maryland and home to Michigan November into December. Everything is worked out for the most part (still finalizing whether we want to do this or not, but I have concerts booked and family knows we are coming, so we are kinda committed) but I haven't found a really inexpensive place to park the coach for 9 days near my family in Olney, MD. Any nuts up that way with bus parking? We don't even need hookups, just a place to park...maybe 110v for our fridge, but if not, we can use our little genny :)

About the only commercial "RV Park" near the DC area is "Cherry Hill RV Park" in Maryland.  It's very close to the I-95 exchange to the DC "Beltway" - I-495.  The town may be College Park or Laurel (or may not be - but it's there).
Only thing is that everyone says that it's breathtakingly expensive.   :(   Whatever else you can find will be better than that.  Unfortunately, Olney is close enough in to the DC area that it's big city crowded/expensive/against zoning etc. on about all counts.
    Sorry.

Thanks. Did check out cherry hill. But found a national park 20 minutes away. $16 a night. No hookups but none needed. So I think we will do that. Middle belt I think Is the name

Greenbelt Park, Greenbelt, MD?  A company I used to work for had an office near there.   Yeah, about 20 Mins + -- try to avoid rush hours.   That should work well for you.
