Pete Wilson recently passed away of Stomach cancer .  http://www.wilsonbus.com/       Pete and his family has owned/restored several unique coaches over the years. They had/have articulated Eagles, the "Golden Chariot" PD4901, and a Scenicruiser . Huge loss to his family and the entire bus industry/hobby.

If you know of the whereabouts of a PD4501 Scenicruiser - I would like to add the serial number to my registry of surviving Scenics.  www.tomsgarageonline.com

Tom, thanks for the notice.  Phyllis and I have several tie-ins.  The first bus company I worked for had purchased several used transits from Jackie Wilson.  Later, when we bought our 4107, we discovered it had been owned by Wilson Bus Lines.  On one family trip up there, we dropped into the garage -- and were given a gracious tour by Pete.  Quite something to see the 4901 and the articulated Eagle.

Finally, I'm quite familiar with that funeral home, it's the one we used for my Mother in Law about 8 months ago.

Truly a loss for the bus industry.
