Well left Walmart this morning and drove up to Interstate shop and parked. About 2pm a truck came in for after hours emergency work. I talked to the mechanic and he said he'd have Larry come in at 7am and get started on me. Maybe they'll get it fixed by the end of the day

If it ends up that you need to stay there for a couple of days there is a motel right next door. They were booked up for several weeks when we first got there so we ended up down in town at the Dude Rancher Hotel.  Prices were about the same for both and we never looked at the rooms in the other place, but the Dude Rancher was fairly nice and i have a feeling it was better than the other one. It is 3 & 1/2 miles from the shop. Just go down the hill, stay in the right lane and go to the right along the base of the hill until you get to the Library which is on the corner on your left. You want to be in the left lane and turn left just as you get to that corner. In the middle of the block you turn into the bank parking lot and the entrance to hotel is just in front of you.....lot of one way streets down in town so pay attention if you go there.

Alright Ed, message delivered. He remembers you. He said it's the blower gasket near the oil feed or return ports and I would have had no loss of power because of it. Anyway tearing it down now

He's got the blower off and it was the gasket at the front of the blower right at an oil hole. Cleaning stuff now said he may have it done tonight

You were lucky it didn't blow to inside,I hate that leak a $10.00 gasket cost you 1000+ bucks to replace

I'm sure it's going to be costly. He said my blower had a little play in the shaft but will be ok

Nope they just flat rate to the manufacture for warranty work which is almost a 1/3 of what the public pays so says Bill at WW Williams

Willaims pays 20 to 28 bucks a hr for a mechanic I never could understand why bus people don't use www.truckdown.com .I used it for years and knew what the rate was before I found a shop.

It really ticks you off when they charge 95 bucks hourly rate for a seated bus then want 125 to 140 bucks a hour to work on a bus tagged as a RV,I find the FreightLiner dealers the worst and they manufacture RV chassis.

I cannot figure it out the shop guy at Vegas FreightLiner said it was because it took longer what the hell you are paying by the hour so it takes a extra hr no big deal @ 95 bucks not 8 hrs at 140 bucks

Well folks here's my sad story. Yea they got Done today Well, not exactly.... my intake air hose had a small split in it and they couldn't source the correct size locally 5 1/2 inch so the got a six inch and made adapters to make it work. Oh did I mention my bill was $2787 after they were kind enough to cut the labor from $135 a hour to $120. My tail hurts! To add insult to injury after leaving the shop going east bound on 90 I realized I wasn't making enough power to pull a wet string out of a chickens a$$. After 22 miles turned around and now back a IState waiting for them to open in the morning. Seems that air tube they made up kinked near the turbo and the kink also interferes with the air throttle and now it's leaking air and not fully opening..... so, the fun continues
