Where are all of the Wall Ovens?

I just purchased an Atwood drop-in stove and wanted to purchase a separate Wall Oven. I didn't want a one piece Stove/Oven, because if something spilled or boiled over, it would go down the sides of the stove and it would be a major cleanup. With a drop-in stove, there is no break in the counter-top, so a spill or a boil-over would not have a crevice to creep into, hence the clean-up would be a snap. The only gas wall oven I can find is made in Italy and carries a price tag of $1,500; what is up with that? It's a box with a burner; and the reviews of it are poor.

Just looking for a simple non electric LP gas oven.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Wall ovens that run on gas are common as dirt.  What dimensions are you after?  Any natural gas oven usually can be used with propane after a change of jets.

Used home appliance stores?  Like already said better, used RV appliance or recycling stores?  I am thinking you may need an apartment sized stove/oven that can be easily converted to propane?  Also consider a small cabin or expensive marine model?  Or maybe consider a induction electric top top and a small microwave only?

Memory tells me USN WW2 submarines had small galleys yet they provided three hot meals daily, plus snacks, for over 60 sailors. Many very nice galleys on large yachts also had very small cooking spaces and did just fine.  We cooked for years on just a 12VDC cook top, then a Coleman gasoline cook stove.  HB of CJ (old coot)

Might just use a regular one and put a piece of "T" aluminum on the top to counter top around the three sides so nothing could go between it. We cook lots of things on it, wife make a lot of winter soups to freeze etc and nothing ever gets down there. Also have 2 screws holding the whole thing in and when they are pulled out you just slide the whole thing forward to clean out the box it sits in which I lines with "Hardy-Backer".

Dear Brian,

I'm looking for a simple, medium sized, LP Gas Oven... no electronics involved... push to spark ignition... in black for under counter-top.

I've looked at "Images" tried "Shopping"; even the Verona (made in Italy) looks nice and can be lit with a match, but it is not made for under the counter-top installation.

Also, I can't believe some of the prices... It's just a box with a burner in it.

If you could provide a link, that would be great.

Thanks all for writing!

I already looked at this ENO Wall Oven... it's a .7 Cu. Ft. Capacity. Yikes... I don't think my shoe would even fit in there.

Thanks!

We have an Atwood 3 burner stove with oven. If something does boil over, it is contained in the stove top for easy clean up later. I think you're making to much out of possible clean up. Why don't you install a 3 burner Atwood or Suburban propane RV stove and try it out? We've had the same stove now for 20 years without ANY problems. Good Luck, TomC

I think that there are no residential gas ovens without auto ignition and control now, for regulatory reasons.  Mine uses a glow plug for ignition and a flame sensor, and computer control.  Sorry, didn't understand your requirement.  Marine or RV it must be, I suppose.  Possibly a small commercial oven might be wall mountable.
