I just installed new rubber hinges on our 4106 . I was expecting it to be a real pain in the &@$@ haha . But with the aid of my garbage tote it was a breeze . Only one person and it took 30 min per door !

They're not bad once you get the hang of it. The most work is cleaning the hinge grooves of corrosion.

I used a kid's wagon to hold/move the large doors.

Hey Loveshack

Who was your parts source?  I am just about out as mine are slowly failing.

Thanks

Be sure to get fresh rubber and use SS screws to hold the hinges. Old corroded screws are a real pain to remove.

I used hinges that came with my 4104 and they lasted a month. Fresh ones are still there with no sign of tearing after six years.

Keep the doors closed as much as possible. The full door weight is on the rubber when open, none when it is closed.
