We have a nice little stream of coolant leaking from the curbside radiator. I guess I'll be searching the forum for a source to buy a new one recore this one. Is there an R&R instruction thread for replacing the radiator on an MCI 9?

Good write-up, Gumpy.  Well described and the photos are clear.  Cleaning, fixing and straightening is a big part of all this, isn't it?  Those two big blowers up above your engine -- do they draw air through the radiators?  A centrifugal blower like that is always going to move air better than a bladed fan but they're sure big, and, by your account, heavy as anvils!  Where does the air exit from them?  It looks like they shoot straight down onto the engine but that wouldn't make much sense (sorry, I don't have any experience with an MC9).  Everything still working well?

Hi All, MCIs from the 5s on air is sucked in thru the split radiators at window level, pushes air thru fan department to engine compartment, and is sucked out the bottom and onto the roadbed, this is the reason mud flaps have to be (infront of the engine and) just behind the wheels not across the entire rear, mounted to the bumper, this is not for models where the single radiator is mounted in other places,  lvmci...

When I repaired both my radiators, I made sure to replace the rubber seal around each unit. That really made a huge difference on "sucking" efficiency!

Get some gas tank epoxy repair for a couple of bucks, push it in the leak, and keep on busing!

I'm going the repair or replace route. Took me a couple of hours but I finally yanked the old one out. What a pain. Anyway, hoping the other one doesn't spring a leak on me for at least a couple of months.
