Charles in SC

I am planning a trip from the upstate of South Carolina to Fort Worth, Texas soon. What are some sites I should check out between the two?

RoadRunnerTex (JL Vickers) is in Palestine, TX, right on your route.  Fellow busnut w/ a 4905 conversion.

He often posts here, search under the Members tab above to find his profile so you can send him a message.

Well worth a visit!

Have a good trip. . .

Not much to add,  but in Ft. Worth:

Money Factory.  -  Bureau of engraving one of only two in the US where they print money.   Fast, free tour.

West, TX  - Little Czech Bakery - right off the 35W,  if you are south of FT W by about an hour.

Oh, and lots of freeway construction.  So give yourself lots of extra time!

Of course there is more touristy FT. Worth Stockyards, and the George Bush Library on Southern Methodist University Campus in Dallas.

Have fun.
