Gray - No stove.  We have a combo convection/microwave oven and (2) portable induction cooktops.  We mostly like to cook outside with the grill and with the portable induction cooktops we can cook outside or inside and they can be put away to allow us to use the countertop space as we'd like.

Correct.  The only heat comes from the pan that the food is being cooked in.

Sean,
     Very nice work. Impressive.
Did you fabricate the solid surface tops yourself?
I am a woodworker, did our Formica tops 10-plus years ago. Would like to replace them with Corian (Blue Crush) but no one will sell to me since I am not a 'trained, professional installer'.
How did you get around this?
Thanks in advance,
Mike in GA
