Some pics of the bus yard for the transit lovers...I know you're out there.  Personally I love transits as they are full of engines and bits that fit in a 4104.

A soon to be scrapped buffalo, intact with auto but it's a quebec rig...too much rust!

My bus having been blocked up for rear brake and air tank work.

Hey man, where abouts is this? :)

Mais qu'est-ce que je lis? Tu es du Québec! De quel coin es-tu? Moi je demeure à St-Casimir de Portneuf. Entre Trois-Rivières et Québec. Et ben!!!! Faudrait prendre contact...Je pense avoir déjà photographier ton coach. Une fois au Vieux-Port de Québec et une autre fois au festival western de St-Tite. Ça se peut?

(Ouah! You live in Quebec! Where do you live? I live at St-Casimir de Portneuf. Between Trois-Rivieres and Quebec. I would like to speak with you...I think I already took a pics of your coach at Vieux-Port of Quebec and western festival of St-Tite. Is it really?)

Si tu peux prendre une photo de ce Prévost à ta prochaine visite dans ce champs, j'aimerais bien le voir.

If you can, take a picture for us (and me).

Thanks

Here's my starting point, a 1975 GMC 4905.

This is what she actually looked like.  Seemed she had been tagged by a local "artist"

She's at my mechanic getting a once over.  In the meanwhile, I'm off to Iraq next month so the conversion will be on hold.  But I will be doing mucho planning and dreaming.

Scott,

You be careful over there. We will keep you close to our hearts.

And a big THANK YOU sir for what you are doing for your country and the people of Iraq. They may not realize it just yet but they will in years to come.

I can relate, Barn Owl! My first bus was a 1981 Eagle 10 Entertainer conversion and was not, shall we say, "state of the art"!
