Why doesn't any of us here use chat? I have been to the chat area many time and there is never anyone there? Would any of you be interested in setting up different times and different subjects to talk about and share your wisdom?

Throw a night and time out there, and they will arrive....

Remember the time zones across the continent.

At one time use to be a regular bunch. Some bus talk and some just talk. I ck once in awhile and say hello ;but seems no one has stayed around long enough.  I'm not a real good fast key board guy or speller so that makes it complicated for me.   Bob

Yep.....what Bob said.....

I used to be a regular in chat, but the room became less and less busy (concidentally it seems about the same time that the mag suffered some setbacks) and the 'flock' just never returned.

I check on occasion, but no one is there.

Maybe the novelty wore off??

Well I am just a sponge now, but would love to talk about anything to do with buses or full timing. Can people tell me what areas they  would be willing to talk about, and what times? Im in the central time zone and I would be willing to try and set up a chat schedule.

Start a thread - pick a time and a night. ie: Wed night chat @ 8:00 central or whatever.  See what happens.  Set the date a couple days out so guys who don't check the board every day will see it.

Its the last thing but its still on the list.

Stay away from Hockey Night...

Weekdays usually work best. There are often too many distractions preventing chat participation on a weekend evening.

The family has to see us sometimes?

I guess we make it that obvious?

Saturday night has never been a good chat night.

Must be something important on the TV in America too?

Melbo

Years ago Wednesday night about 8 east coast and 5 west coast was a busy time. Would go for about an hour or so sometimes two hours then people would slowly disappear as the night wore on.
