Crispy Creme bus was sighted going west  on I 40 near Morganton NC.  Person did not know what kind of bus it was just thought it was older than HUGGY.

Any one know what it is and where it is based.

This would explain it. http://locations.krispykreme.com/krispykreme-cruiser/about
I would imagine that it has a modern diesel or V8 gasoline with automatic.

I watched the build a couple of months ago on tv. It was really neat to watch! The engine is a Cummins 5.9 turned up a little. I imagine it should get 10 to 12 MPG

Those CLIPPERS and STARLINERS are neat coaches. Many of them were built as shells to begin with and since amny of them were used as fire department command posts and mobile TV production units.

OH how I'd love to be the driver of it!

I'd finally get to use my favorite line "BAD COP! NO DONUT!"
