Desperately slow here in western Canada so I've been browsing a couple of threads on other sites between refreshes here.  My problem is compounded by the fact that I'm trying to cheap out by using campground wifi and all the pipeline workers are getting back to their rigs right now.  I think they all watch Netflix or more likely some kind of porno as soon as they get home but this board has been slow all day.

What is causing the slowness? Is this a regular thing here?

Still really, really, slow at this posting time.

No, as a constant addict here for many years, this is not a "regular" issue.

The volunteers who keep this baby going are working hard on our behalf, to find the trigger that has slowed things down in the last little while, and today, grossly slow!

There are many software interfaces that intermingle to give us this experience, somewhere, one of them is rebelling.

Phil will find it, beat it into submission, and all will be well again.

He always does.

happy coaching!

Well, I guess I just pick the wrong days to log in, cause it seems when I do, this is what is going on. Can I be in a bad mood just this once??? NO time for this. Hope it gets perm. fixed.  :-\

Shoot our molasses flows faster than this on a 30* day!

But keep in mind the powers that keep this board running do it in their spare time and for free.

So at least it's still here. (slow as it is it can't go anywhere! ;) )

I'm sure it'll get better.

I sent Phil an email this morning. He is working on it and will get it back up to speed, and maybe faster than before! 8)

Hang in there folks! ;)

I was on Yahoo this morning and it was terribly slow.  I think we are all experiencing the same thing will the whole network.  And even my email coming in was slow.  Just one of those days.   :D

It is SLOW here too. However, I know that Phil works hard to keep this place up and running. Thank you Phil. I am glad that you do!

And for the rest of you MCI nuts? Don't forget mcibustalk.com. Some of us are over there too. Great hangout. Actually, anybody is welcome, just as long as you like MCI's.

Thanks again Phil, and the powers that be. I am grateful.
