I can't believe how fast this sight was loading just the other day and now....
Is it connected to the DOS attacks on the banks? This is a verrry popular sight after all   ;) If those middle eastern hackers can disrupt this board, anything is possible. We're all doomed. I can live without money, I can't live without my busnut fix ;D
Took so long to get here I feel I should say something relevant. That would be a first, Will :)

Is it me, or is it even slower than it was yesterday? Just like the economy...

I'll say what I said on the other board:
The slowness drives me crazy because if it was on my hosting service, we'd have it straightened out in under an hour.  Get one of my Linux says admins to "look under the hood", and the correct adjustment would be made in short order.

Like a good mechanic that knows what the problem is and can go right to it.

I suspect that there is one or two little things that are misconfigured that are blowing the performance to smithereens, similar to an air or fuel restriction, the server has a bottleneck somewhere causing it to run poorly.

I'd recommend they move it to another hosting service ASAP.

I think your web host may be having issues with the database servers again, I have other clients with wordpress sites that have suffered badly under them and had to move.

PM me if you want help.

Yes-- it was fixed this morning, but not it is almost as slow as the past few days...

Sorry, Phil, time to fix it again.
