installing new thermostate

Hi guys   I am about to install 2 new t.stats,gaskets . is there any tricks I should know  (6v92ta)        thanks,   dave

The seals are the trick the lip faces down make sure of that ,soak the 4 bolts on each housing with PB if they don't move try the opposite direction they will twist off and then the fun begins ,replace the 2 hoses on the cross over while there that is worth the effort and the few bucks for the hose

Cool - Im expecting my new tstats, seals and gaskets in the mail tomorrow for 8v71
will probably prep the bus tomorrow morning and replace them tomorrow night
im just following the DD v71 manual - hoping all goes well
let us know how it goes
also is this a good time to flush/fill the radiators and cooling system?
