Finally did something positive to the bus - painted the new exhaust manifolds I made last year, installed the air compressor air filter, and finished moving the Skinner valves to the passenger side of the engine compartment.  The turbo install I did left no clearance between the hot out and the skinner valves that control the fast idle and the engine stop cylinders, so they got moved.  It all worked as intended, no screwups, bus aired up nice and the new brake lines and inversion valve that I installed (but hadn't tested) all were perfect.  Next step - drive it!

Well, I',m moving to Nova Scotia, land of bi-annual safety inspections and roadside pull-over's.  It needs to be perfect to pass, so it's going to be perfect...

Do they DOT type inspections on even private vehicles up there?  I suspect there are a lot of RVs here in Minnesota that would never pass a through inspection.

they do full DOT inspections on every vehicle that runs on a public road, including tractors, quads, RV's, trailers and anything else.  One good thing - my insurance bill is dropping by well past 50%.  The license bill is another story...
