Cool bus, but it would be a slow trip - that engine looks tiny

Although it says it was converted to a motorhome, it does not show or mention any motorhome features.  It certainly has no roof airs, and since bays look rather small, I doubt it has any AC at all.  It may well be no more than a shell with a couple of cots.

Bear in mind that it's in Switzerland - AC is probably not a big requirement.

There's a bus that's been for sale here for literally years which is similar to that Mercedes, albeit not quite as old. It's a 'new' (never registered) 1971 Duple Viceroy with only delivery mileage on the clock. It's been on Ebay dozens of times for lots of money, and has never sold. If anyone's interested, there's a link to it here:

These Viceroys were quite common buses in their day, but I happen to think they're really stylish and classy - elegant and restrained, and yet futuristic in a Gerry Anderson sort of way. A nice size for a really usable motorhome too.

What a cool old coach, I could see rambling along in it. Remember Germany had the Autobahn so that old Mercedes should at least keep up to regular traffic. With some of my cars I cruise along the less traveled routes at non Interstate speeds and rather enjoy it, nicer scenery, nicer people. For a closer look at the inside, here are 49 pictures.   http://www.oldtimergalerie.ch/images/auction/mb312h.htm  Thanks for posting
