Googled it. New player, same game, same name at the top, and another month filled with no mag. At least they are courting the advertizers. They are the ones who pay the bill. Us subcribers are just the fools dat through our dimes in the wishing well!!!

Kellie called me yesterday to ask if I would continue to contribute articles.  I told her I was burned out and the it would be a few months before I would even think about working on a couple that I have gathered some background information for.

I have to say that I am a bit surprised about the number of advertisers that have signed back up.

So if the mag name change is to Hwy Bus...does that mean our subscription to busconversion is no longer valid and we have to pay for a separate subscription if we want hwy bus? (www.hwybus.com - Future home of something quite cool?)

Looked up the WHOIS entry for the domain name - hwybus.com is registered to Mike Kadletz.  So think it's safe to say if she's somehow officially related to endeavor.

I'll be waiting for consistent magazine delivery, fulfilling the missing volumes owed to subscribers.

Only then will I consider a continuation.

Perhaps implement the same system for subscribers as for advertisers?

Advertisers don't pay until the magazine goes out.

No risk for them, no risk for us?

Were the HWY BUS magazines recent?  I thought I read somewhere that Mike closed that magazine a long time ago.  www.hwybus.com is just a parked website.

Kellie has agreed to help out with the magazine. It requires some full time attention, which she has agreed to do. She has been contacting advertisers to see which ones will continue to support us. None of them will be sending any money to us until the magazine is printed. If we can not get enough advertiser to come on board we will not be able to print and mail the magazine. I will front the money to get the magazine printed and mailed if we have the advertisers support.  If people want to help Kellie with info, stories and ads, great,  please consider that she is trying to help.  We will honor all subscriptions with the printed issue. For those that want to bash us or start their own magazine, we wish you well.
If anyone wants to "take charge" let me know.
