Awesome work Tom. One of my projects in the future is to install a basement air or at least have a duct system for air distribution. I remember looking at a professional Eagle conversion once that had a basement air setup ( I think it was a custom job), but I noticed the bay the A/C was mounted in wasn't vented. I would have thought it needed a vent system for the hot air? When considering air distribution, how far can the A/C blow the cold air and still be effective?

Do you have these pics on the net somewhere in larger form?

I had to reduce them way down (from my 10.2 mega pixel camera).  Is there a way to post the picts bigger?  Good Luck, TomC

I use webshots. I am sure other folks will have better alternatives. It's easy to use and to the capacity I use it, it is free.

Plus-I like the challenge of making something work that's not supposed to.   TomC

Isn't that why we all do these conversions?  Jack

You see the new S&S using the self contained units made by Airxcel (RVP-Coleman) for basement air now a dealer told me they run around 1000 bucks for the ParkPac model fwiw over 500 cfm and draw 15 or less amps
