Dear Friends,

After recommendations from several of our fellow bus nuts on these forums, I ordered the 1953 movie "The Long Long Trailer" off of Ebay. (It stars Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball.)

It arrived this week, and my bride and I saw it tonight. Hilarious! A must-see for all bus nuts, aspiring or otherwise.

My wife fell in love with the awesome interior of the vintage New Moon trailer in the movie.

By the way, if you try to google "new moon trailer", you only come up with stuff about a movie called "New Moon".

Blessings to all.

Absolutely agree!  A classic.  I think it came out in 1953 and is done very much in the flavor of "Ricky and Lucy" although the characters have different names.

You can actually watch it piece by piece on Youtube.

My 3 youngest grandaughters favorite movie, I have owned several vintage travel trailer from the 40's and 50's so they can relate to the movie. About every time they are here they have to watch it..

A true classic by all accounts, love the steep long incline, not sure if was 53 /54 but that Merc sure was talking! plus the dolly hitch  to allow such a light car to pull the trailer.

one of my all time favorites. My 5 year old daughter loves it, laughs her head off every time she watches it.
Some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.
