Wow, thats a keeper. Wonder why they didnt show a pic of the motor, what self respecting Busnut wouldn't wanna see that?

Its become shades of the housing crunch though, like a sick contest to see who can ask the least to sell their Bus for less than anyone else. They could get so low people will just scrap them. Oh wait, were there already. A year ago that Bus could easily brought more than $20K if its as he says. Its a dang shame.

That is a very nice bus! I'm willing to bet it gets twice what the current bid is. I didn't see any reserve on it, but I'm sure there is.

That's the bus I want. I have the money. But I'll be eating turkey on Thursday, not flying to LA.  ;)

I dont understand all his descriptions about the engine and no pics of it. That could really help his sale if it looked cool.

Ad says it is at Riverside Ca.
From up here in northern California (i.e. western Washington) Riverside is LA. ;)

John -

Thanks for the link - that is a nice coach.

From the description, sounds like it's got one of the LA Metro Flxible's 6-71TA/V730 powertrains in it, most likely with a 4106 or later rear axle.

Imagine that, it was originally listed at $0.99, and it's almost $8K as I write this.

Agree with some others, this might be a really nice buy, but odd no baggage bay or engine pics.

Well, there's lots of busnut kids who didn't catch the bug.

They may just want to send the old man's coach down the road to the next owner and be done with it.

If they were passionate about the coach, to present it in that light, they wouldn't be selling it?

I think that coach is still top of list worthy to take a look at until proven otherwise.

happy coaching!

Almost over and it's at $10,100.00.   Turbo'd engine and I am curious where he mounted the turbo, do not see a bulge in the tail gate although the tailgate is open, maybe they just run it that way, or I notice the license plate bucket, maybe that is how they clear the turbo.  With a V730 the rear end would have to be changed, usually a 4106 is used to cure the V drive angle problem.  That's the first thing I would look at, if it is not done right it will vibrate to beat hell.  Nice looking car, they have put a lot of time and effort into that one.
