HAVE MODEL 01 EAGLE WITH UPDATED POWER STEERING.WONDERING ABOUT ANY ADJUSTMENTS WHERE DRAG LINK CONNECTS TO CENTER LINK.HAVE SOME MOVEMENT THERE AND SEE  WHAT APPEARS TO BE A SCREW AT END OF DRAG LINK.ANYONE HAVE INFO? THANKS.

TomC

About the only adjustments for slack in the steering system would be in the steering gear box.  If you have any movement in the ball joints, or in the tie rods or drag link-typically it means they are worn out-time for either replacing or installing new bushings.  Good Luck, TomC

Like Tom just said, the only adjustment for slack that I know of is in the steering gear box. If everything is tight, I would check there. It is very common for a new steering gear box to loosen up after some use. On the side of the box, you will see an adjustment screw with a lock nut. That is your adjustment. If you have never adjusted one before, you should get the book. You have to be very carfull, you DON'T WANT TO OVER TIGHTEN IT. That will destroy the box in a hurry. It requires just a little at a time.
