I was thinking about Bob (BCO) yesterday, havnt seen any posts in a while.

House rattled a bit the night before when they had the 4.7, and really shook when the "big one" struck. I cant imagine what being right on top of that 5.6 was like. But then im new to earthquakes, anything I can feel is a big deal, lol.

  I hope everyone is safe.

I've been emailing back and forth with Don and he's been posting comments on our travel blog, they are doing just fine. He says he's ready for more! ;D

RTM sent me an email and said some folks were possibly worried about me and the Missus? (Hey?  I just checked my profile and I am now only ignored by four (down one) so I guess the old axiom is true ... Absence does make the heart grow fonder.)

We are fine, crack in the drywall and some stuff off the shelves, but okay.  (I was out in the shop working on the plywood-box I built to cover the bus up with this winter to keep it warm and then everything started shaking!  Yeah right.)  We live about 70 miles from the epicenter and have had about a week of aftershocks.

This is hard to believe ... We had tornado's and an earthquake at the same time ... Isn't Oklahoma grand?

Have some stuff concerning the earthquakes on my webpage if anyone wants to read about it (Didja Feel It ... Didja huh ... Ride Me Down Easy).  Today's post is about "Buying American" for Christmas check it out:  http://boxcarokie.com/2011/11/10/christmas-2011-birth-of-a-new-tradition/

Thanks for your concern.  I now leave you to your amusements.

We live about 80 or so miles from the quake center in the opposit direction from Don.  It was kind of funny on Monday night sitting in front of the TV with the tornado and storm warning in the lower corner of the screen and my wife saying hey that thunder feels just like an earthquake, then realized we were having the 4.7 aftershock.

I'll take the craziness and the earthquakes of Los Angeles anytime over Okies violent weather.  Good Luck, TomC

I could put ya on ignore if it would make ya feel better having a higher count, lol.

As scary as Oklahoma may seem to some from the outside, I've seen LA. They can have it.

Glad everyones okay, you too Bob. Welcome back?
