semi extreme makeover

Ok a recent topic regarding what would we change now that we are using our bus is.... well it got me thinking, what better time than now to change and or add the things we wished we had done the first time around.
Went out to the bus and looked around and thought yea a bigger bed is a must so, low and behold back in the house in the spare room was a queen mattress that is like new. After measuring it, then the bedroom in the bus, it will fit like it was made for it.
Next I think I figured out closet space without actually building a closet. I will utilize one wall where I already removed a tv that was never watched in the be so that wall will give me the space I need.
Now comes the kitchen table that we Never used since we always sit at the bar. The chairs have long been gone so we decided to just make a cabinet out of the table and use it for a storage/buffet.
New valances over the huge windows are in order and the biggest change will be, I decided to remove the carpeting in the living room and entrance area or upper steps and the vinyl tile that resides on the lower steps, kitchen and bath. That will be changed out for high gloss 17 inch ceramic tile which will also be installed on all the steps entering. Im thinking about installing the tile on a 45 degree angle at a half drop, with a small grout line, just to change things up a bit. We bought a couple pieces tonight for our first color choice and after we brought them home, we both agreed on the same one. So far so good!
Our bathroom has always been sort of dark so that means more lights there, and while I'm at it, going to add some in the bedroom too.
After that, the remake of the Bays! That means more organized, nothing else!
I'm about done updating the exterior lights which should top out around $250.00 when all said and done!
Might try and get some of this done if not all before Arcadia but if not, we'll still be there!
