Dzus fasterners on rear junction panel

I opened the rear junction panel on my MC-9 yesterday and only one of the six Dzus fasteners had the spring receptacle on the panel body. Does anybody know off hand what size those fasteners are? I could get measurements and search the catalogs to find them but hoped someone here could save me the hassle. Thanks in advance

Did you contact MCI parts directly? I have found the tech support folks very helpful and very willing to solve my problems. I have spent many an hour searching for a better deal on parts only to finally decide that MCI online parts was my best option.

No, I haven't yet. I didn't think they would still carry that type of part for the MC-9 and didn't think that it would be used on any of the newer stuff.

Dzus fasteners are still readily available, even on Ebay. I think that you can find specs for them online too. MCI probably has that too>

Somewhere in the shop I have a bag if about 100 or so if you think they would work.

You mean the S-spring? There are a couple of different sizes and depths, can you measure the spacing between the rivets?

edit: I went out and looked. You need the large size, 1 3/8". I don't know what spring height you need. http://www.dzusfasteners.net/categories/Dzus-Springs/?sort=priceasc

I couldn't stand it either and got dirty again. It is a Dzus P/N D4-S6-300 which has a center distance of 1 3/8" and a spring height of .300" measured from the mounting surface to the outside of the spring. Ace if this is what you have I would be forever indebted to you for five of them, well, for a little while anyway.

Ok I JUST found the bag of springs. They measure 1 3/8 c-c.

Got any of these left? The MCI church bus I'm working on needs several in several places. I'd just as soon buy 'm from you as to have to order a large quantity and have 'm sit'n around looking for a home.

BK how many do you need? I sent a bag full to Tom. Sure hope he got them. He should have by now as they were priority.
I have a few left but since I didn't charge Tom anything, I'd have to charge you double.
