AndyG  &robertglines1  are son and dad if you haven't figured that out. We are both bus nuts and build together. Andy is by far the more educated engineer of the two and I the much older have the time to make mistakes and learn from them. A good ck and balance team. So don't blame him for any thing I may say.   Bob

Bob:

I certainly have enjoyed your posts, and your replies to mine. Hopefully one day our son will be a busnut as well.

Maybe on this coming trip North we can have a cup of coffee, or a Dr. Pepper with you.

Blessings.

I've been lurking on the board for awhile just never commented.  I don't know about the more educted part.  It just means I think to much.  When Dad wanted slides on the '89 I was supposed to design them.  He got tired of waiting while I thought about it and built them anyway.  I just walked in and said "looks good"  I've been thinking a lot about my steam engine.  Maybe Dad needs to kick start that job also.

Mex-nut:  When we figure out how to haul my steam engine with a bus maybe I can move into BusNut world.  Right now I'm palying with a Freightliner toterhome.

Andy did you ever find a engine for the toter? My budy is suppost to be looking at a tri axle dump truck for scrap soon. Its suppost to run but I dont know what drive train it has. I can get you the info if you want.

The Toter has a Cummins 350 BCIV followed by a 9sp Eaton/Fuller.  The engine and trans are OK but I NEED a new AC compressor for it.  This has been a hot summer!
