engine thermostats 8v71 with turbo

Hello all
I have just installed one new radiator and rodded one radiator on my mci 7
i am now going to change the thermostats
i have 170 degree thermostats
i was wondering what the experts on this board recommend

170 thermostats should work good for you Trevor gives you a operating range 170* to 187* and keeps the engine above min temperature maybe a little cold in freezing temps for the bus heat but that is why they make cardboard lol

Would you also recommend 170* t-stats for a MCI-9 with a 8-92TA?
I just put in 180's but I realize they are not full open until around 195??  Would it run cooler?
