It has taken a week to get caught up on everything since I have been back from my trip. I want to thank all who helped, or attempted to help me as we planned our trip. I had big plans to find some WiFi on the trip and post or contact members as we traveled. As evident from my activity here that didn't happen. I was able to contact those who posted early about my trip and I am grateful for the assistance. I know there where others that posted after I left that would have also have done the same, and I wish to thank them also. A very special thanks needs to be given to George, who goes by Seville here on the board, lives in Manhattan, and keeps a beautiful MCI parked at Coney Island. He is an incredible bus friend. He really helped take the learning curve out of New York, and by being there to answer all of my silly questions, help tremendously by removing much of my anxiety I had about traveling in the city. He checked on us several times to make sure we were OK, and took some time out of his busy schedule to visit. I am continually amazed how supportive and generous fellow bus enthusiast are. I do feel a special bond to many here that make bus ownership possible. I do not know of a more giving and caring group anywhere on the net. I will post snippets on how my family visited New York shortly (and go back and do one for San Francisco also), and hope it helps others who might be planning a trip there in the future.

The bus ran flawlessly. It might be ugly, but mechanically seems to be happiest doing what it was originally built for, racking up the miles.

Oh Barnoul you nailed it there.

A happy bus. Ours is happiest about 67mph regardless of where its pointed and the further the destination the happier still.

Thats just how mine is too.Little rough around the edges but it will keep going and going and going.

I think it has a soul as real as our own.

Good stewarts will be willing them to thier grandchildren and if they too are also good stewarts I think, parts willing, they can go forever.
