MC8 spin on conversion

I want to convert my canister fuel filter system to a spin on.  Tired of fooling with those canisters.  Who do I contact to order the converstion kits?  Local detroit diesel shop?  I googled it, but came up with filters and all kinds of other stuff, but not the conversion kit.

Reading between the lines:

There isn't a "conversion kit" for the canister fuel filters per se, you have to change to the spin on bases.

That will be why the searches were painful!

There is an adapter to switch to a spin on oil filter from the canister style.

Dallas:  thx for the offer but a local shop ordered the filter heads today and will have tomorrow or Wednesday morning at the latest.  I am in a hurry to get it running again... can't really do anything else until that.  Spent too much time dead in the water already.
