What should I use to seal brass fuel screw fitting connections?  Seems like I've read most don't like teflon tape.  I am redoing some of the fittings at the filter housings, etc and don't want any more lost prime issues or leaks.

Thanks again,

I've been using gas pipe dope.  It seems to work fine.  I use a lot of the Loctite liquid teflon dope too, on my race cars, but it's not rated (as far as I know) for gas so I happen to have a couple tubes of the other stuff.

Never heard of liquid teflon... I'll have to see if I can find that... if not, might just use pipe dope.

Great info guys. Thx to all.  Hopefully the rain will stop and I can get some work done this weekend.  I'd love to get her running again.
