thanks for the info. I have been watching this story, it is on the opposite side of the mountain that we will be going up but still may have an impact.

Thanks for the blog links, I am somewhat relieved to hear that the east side does not have any of those 10% grades.

Thank you everyone for the replies. Although we have been using the bus since September (TBR) and have done several long weekend trips, this will be our first long trip in the bus, about 2600 miles thru KS, NE WY, SD, MO and back to OK so we are trying to be as prepared as we can.  Looking forward to getting out on the road.

Doug, Hope you find your way there and back without hiccups! We'll be heading to Cody in August for the Eagle rally, keep us posted on what you find.

Happy Trails!

Doug -

Since this appears to be your first real mountain run in your coach, take some time to read this before you leave:

Altho initially written for manual gearbox vehicles, there is a section near the end for automatic owners.

Understanding what's been written can/will possibly save you a lot of grief.

Have a wonderful time!

Just received this post from a friend that lives over in that area of Wyoming.....

Good news about Highway 14 east of Greybull - although it's still closed today (about 31.5 miles east of Greybull), a detour is being built around the slide. And WYDOT officials and the construction company are hopeful U.S. 14 will reopen to through traffic by Friday, July 1, 10 days after the emergency road repairs started.
The contractor has worked seven straight days as of Tuesday, June 28.
