Axle nut size

Does anyone know the size of the spindle/axle nut for the steer axle of an MC5A?  I need to pull the hubs to change the wheel studs and don't know if I have a big enough socket to do the job.

I think that it is 2". might be 2 & 1/2 but it seems to me it was 2.
