Matt and bs4104, I think you are correct. It sure looks like the one I saw at his shop about 4 years ago.

Are the propane cylinders adequately secured and vented?   (Is this a professional conversion?)

Were the light bulb sockets coated with di-electric lubricant prior to installation ? Other than that were I of the notion to purchase and wished not to sub-contract, I think I could figure a secure bottle install.
More important tho I think the add info should have been more explicit regarding the grit coices of sanding and polishing mediums...... :-*

This is a great example of what's available out there. Just think of the time savings alone in having to find a good "project bus", tear down, fix this fix that, oh no how about this too, etc. etc. ... Build out time, 2-5 years later & more money invested than what you could buy this one for.

OK here comes my mature answer,he did it because he wanted too and he could.
Kinda like why some nut on American pickers would find some crappy lookin old rusted bicycle frame and sell it for $600.00 to someone who completely restores it...... because he wanted too and he could.

That is a pretty good looking conversion. I may be in the minority but pre electronic is my choice. Sharp rig.
