aprox weight 60 serries and eaton 10 speed?

trying to verify my ideas on actual weight. I figured 2900 for 60 serries and 1200 for trans.Does that sound about rite?I checked charts. they said dry.how much should I add?

Let's see-the weight of the Series 60 is 2650lbs.  Add 11 gallons of oil, about 20 gallons of water and the total is just about your 2,900lbs.  The Eaton 10spd weighs in at about 700lbs (with oil), the bell housing about 85lbs and the flywheel/clutch another 250lbs for a total of 1035lbs.  So you're looking at almost 4,000lbs for the complete engine/transmission in wet condition-so you're not far off.  Good Luck, TomC
