I'm kinda intrigued by the custom small headlights on the newer buses and while browsing the Hella website came across these  miniature round headlights.

Does anyone have any experience or comments on these lights.

Thanks

Hella's 90mm modules are used in a lot of places.  Vanhool and Prevost busses, high-end luxury cars, other cars.  The Subaru I anecdotally mentioned in the other headlight thread has a kit which replaced the factory single fixture with high and low beam 90mm modules on a custom housing (actually looks nice).

They are easy to work with, easy to aim, easy to change bulbs in...  Just a great product.  Available in HID or Halogen (for the low beam - high beam only available in Halogen), and in ECE or DOT beam patterns.

I have no stake in Hella or their business...

My previous car had Hella projector lamps like those.   Wow, were they bright!   My present car has the HID version of them, and they're even better.   They have excellent beam control, so all their light output does something useful, without any glare against oncoming cars.   They definitely make night driving safer and easier.   I will never go back to traditional reflector-type lights on my car after using these projectors.
