Just want to say hope everyone is OK and safe at home, looks like the storm across the country is gonna be a big one.

They mentioned that we might get up to "2 inches" of ice here in central Indiana.

In  SW Indiana 3 years ago we had 4 inches of ice. Damage is still  evident old growth trees broken down .now loose limb have gotten to a point of decay they drop out at will.  Elect was out for 6 weeks in winter for several. Lets all pray we don't have a repeat.I guess ice is our hurricane. Stay safe.  Bob

Ten to sixteen inches forecasted for here, tomorrow. And of course, I have to attended a conference. That will be fun getting there.

It's supposed to only drop 4-6 inches here but get more intense as it moves east. Cold and windy with light flurries right now.
Seven Heaven.... I pray a lot every time I head down the road!!

Ed and Ace - thanks >:(  Some of us don't think that is called for :D

The high here tomorrow will be below zero yes, the high!!!! >:( >:( >:(

I have two battery chargers going right now to top off some batteries that don't get a lot of use.  Recall that discharged batteries can freeze and burst.  The bus is in the shop (unheated), but the AquaHot is on and I have a small electric heater going (almost impossible to winterize).

Damn Global Warming! One of you guys didn't buy your carbon credits and this is what we get for it!

Probably Ace in his 76 degrees.

I just blew 4-6" off the driveway. Still snowing a bit and I think more predicted for tonight.  Going to have to put an extension chute on the snowblower if the mounds along the drive get
any taller!

We are supposed to get a serious storm up here as well, and the direction is such that I'm supposed to get serious lake effect snow where I live in Hamilton.  What's ironic is that this in indeed supposed to be from global warming, apparently an arctic wind pattern at the jet stream level or some such has been changed so that the cold air is coming down here causing no end of grief, and the guys in the arctic can't run their snowmobiles...no snow!  Warmest season on record, supposedly.

I'm battened down, snow blower full of gas and I just bought 900 litres of fuel oil for my shop furnace.  Just increased the cost of my engine rebuild for the bus by $1,000, I reckon...

Ed, at least you have good folks there!  Tell them HI

I guess you could say that those of us in the cold areas have the ba**s  to face the terrible conditions.  Just too bad we can't find them ;D :o
