ENGINE BLOCK QUESTION.

  I noticed today, on the left side of my engine (in front of the oil filter) there is, what appears to be a petcock, and what

looks like a 90 degree elbow with a thin tube coming out. The question I'm asking, there is alot of oil that has started to puddle

below it.  This is the first major leak I have had.  Is this normal? or is this a sign of future problems? My engine is a 8V92N.

Steve, that sounds like the air box drains have you been doing a lot of idling or short runs ?

   Luvrbus, you hit the nail on the head, no short runs but I have high idled  it a couple of times this week!
